THE MAKER
Talisman is the creative vision of founder and designer Trevis Smith a decade spent between the atelier and the shore, drawn to a lifelong fascination with what the ocean keeps hidden.
Trevis trained in the storied ateliers of Fifth Avenue before the work pulled him south, to the quieter rhythms of Maryland, and further still Japan, Shanghai, the Philippines, India. Each place left its mark on the sensibility that carves every piece today: precision without polish for its own sake, and a respect for symbols older than the workshop itself.
He does not design jewelry so much as translate it turning what a person needs to carry into something they can hold.
